good vintage years, Barolo is big wine,100% Nebbiolo grape
must age min. 3 years before released. Rich and full bodied,
it is known for its high acidity and 'mouth puckering' tannins.
Ideal with meat, game dishes, rich sauces and aged cheese.

The Veglio family has owned the properties "Cascina Bruni" winery for over 100 years, taking great care of the vineyards and the traditional winemaking techniques of high quality standards. From generation to generation their philosophy of producing limited amounts of wines, individually vineyard by vineyard. The ageing of Barolo and Barbaresco takes place in big Slavonic oak, German oak, French oak and chestnut-wood casks for 2/4 years. While Dolcetto d'Alba and the whites Gavi di Gavi, Roero Arneis, Moscato d'Asti and Spumante are released young, the Barbera and Nebbiolo, deserve a special remark because are refined in big Slavonic oak casks for 6-12 months in order to bring out their unique qualities. Naturally 'Big Time' is spent with Barolo for their Oak ageing required.
