Barolo "Vigne dei Fantini" 2003 - Piedmont

Among the best respected wine in the world, especially in good vintage years, Barolo must age a minimum of 3 years before released. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grape, around the town of Barolo in Piedmont, it is a big wine, rich and full bodied, taking on a brick red colour with age. It is known for its high acidity and 'mouth puckering' tannins. A top Barolo may require several years of ageing and few hours airing prior to be enjoyed.

Winery Information:

Silvano Bolmida's family has grown grapes for a long time in "Bussia" the historical heart for Barolo. Silvano became
a winemaker in 1987 after 12 years experience in the region. He later rebuilt the family vineyards and started to
produce Barolo with his own method of vinification, new and creative techniques to maximise the potentiality allowed
by soil/grape/climate. Accolades for both his Barolo's have accumulated in the past 5 years with many praises such as;
