This incredibly successful winery started just in 1999. Their first vintage was released late 2002. In 2003 they entered their wines in the most important Italian wine guide “Gambero Rosso” and immediately Won the highest prize “3 Bicchieri” (3 glasses) and every year since. “Il Volano” is also highly recommended for excellent Price for Quality.

Was once the feudal field of the noble and powerful Siennese family the Tolomei. Since 1850 this estate has belonged to the Ciacci family. Tenuta di Sesta first vintage of Brunello di Montalcino dates back to 1966, a date that underlines the winery membership among the historical producers of these prestigious red wines.
The vineyards are located south of Montalcino in an enviable position regarded by most experts as one of absolute privilege, allowing the vines to benefit from climatic advantages, added to the quality of, the “terroir” and the family philosophy to produce wines that express the intensity, the elegance and the decisive character of the vines in this supreme land. It is highly recommended also in the wine guide “Vini d’Italia”.

These wineries are situated just outside Verona, in the heart of the Valpolicella region, surrounding the Patriarchal house belonging to the Farina family since 1500. They produce great wines such as Amarone, Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso and Recioto, and the lighter white wines Soave and Bianco di Custoza. Prestigious are the Cru, Amarone Riserva “Montefante”, Amarone Classico and Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso “Vigna Montecorna”. The winery is present in the world’s most prestigious markets. Farina wines have received several important recognitions from the most respected specialists of the field, and highly awarded at the international wine competitions listed above

Silvano Bolmida’s family has grown grapes for a long time in “Bussia” the historical heart for Barolo. Silvano became a winemaker in 1987 after 12 years experience in the region. He later rebuilt the family vineyards and started to produce Barolo with his own method of vinification, new and creative techniques to maximise the potentiality allowed by soil/grape/climate. Accolades for both his Barolo’s have accumulated in the past 5 years with many praises as stated above.

The Veglio family has owned the properties “Cascina Bruni” winery for over 100 years, taking great care of the vineyards and the traditional winemaking techniques of high quality standards. From generation to generation their philosophy of producing limited amounts of wines, individually vineyard by vineyard. The ageing of Barolo and Barbaresco takes place in big Slavonic oak, German oak, French oak and chestnut-wood casks for 2/4 years. While Dolcetto d’Alba and the whites Gavi di Gavi, Roero Arneis, Moscato d’Asti and Spumante are released young, the Barbera and Nebbiolo, deserve a special remark because are refined in big Slavonic oak casks for 6-12 months in order to bring out their unique qualities. Naturally ‘Big Time’ is spent with Barolo for their Oak ageing required.

The “Dynamic Duo Brothers” Ciro and Antonello are so well amalgamated yet with so different in personalities and tastes, however they share the same passion and culture in producing great wines. This year their 2002 Taurasi was the ONLY wine to make the “Final” stage of Gambero Rosso, ending just short of the 3 “Red” Glasses. Their Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo also with 2 “Red” Glasses and the Aglianico with 2 glasses. An exceptional range of wines marked by Gambero Rosso as highly recommended, especially with Price for Quality comparison.

Maurizio Ceci is the proud owner and winemaker of good quality Verdicchio di Jesi in a town situated on the eastern side of the Marche region on the Adriatic sea. His Verdicchio has received several trophies, praises and various recommendations, in many competitions.

“Redi” Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has been established for 70 years and it has become the biggest winemaking reality in the Montepulciano district. They have won a large number of accolades over the decades. This year they have won ; Silver Medal with Vino Nobile, participated to the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, an important International Wines Competition.

This Winery is another incredible success. The World renowned company Knauf founded this vineyard in 1998 in the evocative settings of Bolgheri, planting mostly international varieties. The cultivation is conceived with a very low yield per plant in order to produce a superior quality of grapes. The Adeo has been awarded many Trophies some of which are listed above.

This vineyard is situated just next door to the very famous world class Ornellaia, taking advantage of the very fertile terrain and climate conditions. Bolgheri is positioned on the west coast of the Tyrrenian Sea, a location very similar to Bordeaux. Chiappini produces only a few wines but with excellent cost for quality comparison.

This vineyard near Cagliari in Sardinia has a good history of producing good wines. We have chosen their best regarded wines; Parolto, Cannonau and Vermentino, much appreciated by Italian as well as International consumers.

This Vineyard is located in the Isle of Elba, near Porto Azzuro in Tuscany. Great attention has been dedicated to Aleatico, since the Renaissance period as it is one of the very few existing red “passito” all over the world, resulting from 100% Aleatico grapes. Only perfectly ripe and healthy grapes are hand-picked resulting in low yield, and it has won many trophies.

These wine are made in the most southern small island of Sicily. The grapes are left on the plant for a long period in order to dry the fruit. Hence a much smaller quantity of juice is produced, full of sweet flavours, smooth on the palate. Many people recognize that the difference between a good Passito and Château d'Yquem is not that great, especially if compared with the price.

TALENTI – Montalcino - Tuscany

This vineyard is located in Pian di Conte, south of Montalcino, close by the small medieval village of Sant'Angelo in Colle. The Winery was founded in 1980 when Pierluigi Talenti decided to acquire the property which had so enchanted him since the 1950's. The experience and the long cloning research made on the winery has been elevate to its highest levels of quality respecting the traditional method, but improving on technics. LE GINESTRE – Piedmont

“Le Ginestre” vineyard is located in the village of Grinzane Cavour, in the Famous Langhe hills in Piedmont, In the XVIII century, most of the land around Grinzane Castle belonged to Count Camillo Benso of Cavour, the political architect of the Unification of Italy. Most work in the vineyards is carried out by hand, and only organic fertilizers are useed, while vine diseases are prevented using natural copper and sulphur-based products. Barolo, Nebbiolo and Barbera, are matured in Slovanian oak casks and French barrels. The Winery has received various recognitions

The Bianchi family has owned wine vineyards for 6 generations, since 1785, when Giuseppe Bianchi “Primo” (The first), was producing excellent wines near towns of Gattinara. His major estimator was the legendary “Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour” one of the Italian leaders and instigators for the liberation of Italy from foreign oppressor during that period. Since 1990, Bianchi wines have been produced Organically and exported to many countries in Europe, USA, Japan, South America, and proudly are now in Australia. Famous for their reds, Gattinara and Ghemme and the very rare white grape, Erbaluce. Among many other accolades, the most famous Italian wine guide “Gambero Rosso” has given;

I GIUSTI E ZANZA – Lucca - Tuscany

I Giusti & Zanza Vigneti have been producing wine since 1995 in the hills of Fauglia, on the Tuscan coast near Pisa with mild marine climate. They produce several grape varietals and all vines are grown organically with no chemical fertilizers or weedkillers, nor artificial irrigation either. All vines are harvested by hand so as to make a first selection of grapes directly in the vineyard. Dulcamara and Belcore are winners of many awards with high scores.
